multilingual flashcards skeleton

Did you know that the human skeleton has 206 bones (300 when you are born!)?

The longest bone is the thigh bone (femur) and the smallest is in your inner ear (the staples or stirrup bone). The only bone without joints is the hyoid bone in your throat.

The skeleton has so many functions, from support to production of blood in the bone marrow.

For a fun bit of French, why not try out ‘La Chanson des squelettes’ where the skeletons sing about what they do in each hour of the day?
