October Bullet Journal Round-Up

Yes, I know I am very late… better late than never, right?

This is the first month I have tried using a bullet journal and I have really enjoyed it. While I know many people out there have incredible spreads, I have enjoyed doing some simple doodles and condensing my never-ending to-do list into a few important things each day!

So, how did I do this month?

My Habits Tracker for this month is not looking quite as healthy as I would like – the main reason for this is a few health issues I have been having this month – I’ve actually had two minor surgeries and started on new medication which has majorly affected my ability to exercise and do housework that requires a lot of physical effort.

For this reason, the hoovering was delegated to my boyfriend so it actually got done!

I am hoping to get better at exercise in November as I heal up, although I will still be on medication for the next 5 weeks which will impact on my energy levels and immune system. I have been making an effort to drink more water but could still improve on amount of water and fruit and vegetables during the day. (Can’t we all?)

I would also like to improve on my language learning as that has really fallen off for me due to work being busy. For that reason, I am considering creating a specific spread to track language learning rather than having it on my habits.

Another thing I added this month which I think will be useful is a list of books being published during the month. I know that November doesn’t tend to be as busy as September and October but I really need to keep better track of the ARCs that I need to review and make sure the reviews go live as close as possible to the publication date.

I really like the month-to-view calendar and I did pretty well with reading this month, thanks, largely to half-term!

Not including picture books, I read 23 books this month!

Now I just need to get caught up on reviews…

How have you been getting on with battling the never-ending TBR pile?

I would love to hear in the comments!
