November Bullet Journal Set-up

Oops, a bit late with this one too!

November is already more than halfway over…

I decided to go for a space/star-theme for this month as my birthday is in November (19th – yay!) and my star sign is Scorpio. This also gave me the excuse to get some beautiful night sky washi tape which I had been eyeing up…

Didn’t realise quite how many rolls of washi tape I had until getting them together in one place…new mini-obsession!

Like October, I decided to choose three colours for filling in my daily tasks and habits chart. I also gave myself a bit more space for books after running out of room on the shelf in October (though I did have half-term to read in so will probably have fewer books this month)

9 books so far!

I decided to add a list of books being published this month to help me keep track of my ARCs and try to get reviews up closer to publication dates.

Afraid I have fallen somewhat behind after going on a bit of a Netgalley requesting spree in August, but am currently at 74% on my feedback so getting there!

I also added a section for keeping track of my Twitter and Blog followers as I have now been book blogging for almost three months and feel like things are starting to take off a bit, even though my posting has been a bit erratic due to health problems.

Another change I made was reducing the number of things on my habits chart – this was partly in response to being unable to fill in a lot of things on the list last month and partly to lift the pressure off myself somewhat. I’m not 100% at the moment and I can only forgive myself that rather than continuing to beat myself up for not achieving the unattainable every day.

So, that’s November so far…can’t quite believe how quickly it is going!

How is your month going?

Have you got a bullet journal or another way of keeping track of your to-do list?

  3. I love your drawings in the journal! I’ve only recently started keeping one too. Still working out what works and what doesn’t.

    1. I am just experimenting at the moment too, but enjoying it far more than I anticipated! I used to do a lot of sketching, painting and other arty/crafty activities but don’t anymore. Even though the bullet journal is just doodles, I still find it calming and fun like more serious art!

  4. How lovely! You are quite creative!

    1. Thank you! I know there are bullet journals out there which are masterful works of art, but I am enjoying doodling and having a little bit of calm at the end of each day to fill it in 🙂

    1. Thank you! I am just starting out! Do you keep a bullet journal?

      1. I wanted to start but I think I will suck at it. Lol. Organization is not my key quality to say the least!

      2. I don’t feel it’s my strongest point either, yet I do love a good to-do list!
