Multilingual flashcard: Spring

It’s beginning to feel a lot like spring here – today was noticeably warmer and, although it was quite cloudy and rainy, I spotted lots of spring flowers poking their heads out after the snow last week.

  1. I love leaving winter and heading into spring! Not least because it means the end of the school year is near…

    1. I do like seeing the shoots breaking through the snow and all the pretty spring flowers. Is it your favourite season? I think mine is Autumn!

      1. It’s mainly just winter I struggle with. I’m not sure if it’s my favourite, but there’s lots I love about it. That said, summer is fab cause I’m off school for ages which is really refreshing and autumn is great because BIRTHDAY. And rainy days where you can stay inside and read under blankets 😁

      2. Yes, birthday and rainy reading make Autumn a winner for me, plus the pretty leaves. I don’t like being cold, but love the snow! And summer means holidays and beaches… Each season has pros and cons! Have you still got snow where you are? It’s quite nice and mild here now!

      3. It’s not still actually snowing but it’s lying everywhere and getting all icky and dirty which is horrid. X

      4. I like it when it’s fluffy and white, not so much the slushy grey aftermath…hope you get some sunshine soon!
