Wales for a week!

Wales for a week!

By the time you read this I will already be in Wales…and completely without internet!

cof

Before this year I had never been to Wales, yet this is the second time this year that I will be going. The first (and last!) time was with a group of teachers to prepare for a school trip, this time it’s the teachers plus all of the children.

I am excited because the tiny bit I saw of Wales on my last visit was absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to see even more. I am also a tad apprehensive because I have no idea how much sleep I’m going to manage to get over the week…it sounds jam-packed with activities!

My scheduled posts will still be appearing, but I will only be blog-hopping and replying to comments, etc, after I come back on the 24th June.

Hope that everyone has a lovely week and I will see you all soon!

Have you ever been to Wales?

Have you ever climbed Snowdon?

How often do you go entirely without internet for a week?

  2. Have fun!!

Wales is the home of my ancestors. I’d love to visit. It’s the long flight that sorta freaks me out… I’m demophobic, and being trapped for 18 hours with all those other people, like a sardine in a can… Nope.

    1. That doesn’t sound like fun at all. Would it help to take medicine to sleep for the flight or look into alternative methods of travel? Once you arrive in the U.K. it is quite easy to travel because it is so compact! Hope you can visit someday!

I love Wales! My friend’s mum lives in an ex Buddhist retreat within Snowdonia National Park, it’s really beautiful. Have a wonderful time!

    1. We climbed Snowdon in rain, minus temperatures and wind, then had gorgeous sunny weather for the rest of the trip. It is so beautiful in Snowdonia!

I hope you’re having a marvelous time! I have only been to Wales once when I was very young and I remember almost nothing about it! I think it’s time for my own trip 😀

    1. It was amazing! I didn’t want to leave – the 6-8 hour drive there was the worst bit, but everything else was brilliant! Hope you can go again someday!

I live in North Wales, not too far from Snowdon and absolutely love it. I walked up Snowdon years ago at 16 for and organised a fundraiser for charity too. Internet is a bit dodgy in the more rural parts but we put up with it because the views are spectacular. I really hope you enjoy your second visit.

    1. It is such a beautiful corner of the world – I didn’t want to leave! We stayed near Snowdon and had no phone network coverage or internet at all. Considering how little time we spent indoors it really didn’t make too much difference! I will definitely be back again!
