2018: My Year in Books

2018: My Year in Books

18yearinbooks1

Farewell to 2018 and welcome to 2019!

That is definitely going to take a bit of getting used to, as I still feel like 2018 has hardly begun.

How has your year been?

What have been your highlights?

Which books have been your favourites?

This was the first year that I have used Goodreads for the full year (I joined in April 2017) so I was really excited to see everything that I’ve read in a year. Apart from a few books that didn’t seem to exist on Goodreads, I have managed to record everything and it has been really interesting to see patterns in my reading emerge in response to things going on in my life, etc.

I managed to read quite a lot of books this year, although have been pretty terrible at actually getting reviews written for them all!

See my monthly round-ups for more information: January, February, March and April, May, June, July, August , September, October, November December.

Or see everything I’ve read this year below:

Overall, I’m pretty please with my year in reading…but my to-be-read pile has only grown in size!

Did you spot any favourites above?

    1. Don’t be ashamed – be proud! I only use Goodreads as a tracker because I love seeing everything I’ve read in a year, but I don’t like to consider it as a competition. It also helps that I’m a teacher so I read lots of picture books and shorter chapter books with my class ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy New Year to you too! What was your favourite read of 2018?
