January Achievements and Highlights

January has been a whirlwind of a month!

Happily, we were finally able to exchange on our house and will hopefully be getting the keys next week.

I’m proud of managing to do so many book reviews this week – despite the fact that reviews are usually the least-viewed posts on a book blog, screaming about books I have loved is an important part of why I started this blog so I am trying to do more.

I’ve also managed to post on most days, which I will count as a major victory considering some health challenges which arose partway through the month and have led to me needing to take some time to recover.

Here’s hoping February is going to be even better!

January Favourites

Food/Drink: I have been sticking to old favourites and basic food, due to some ill health this month.

Skincare: I have also been terrible with my skincare! One thing I have come back to, aftr using it years ago, is Boots Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Night Gel. It is easily absorbed, smells nice and is great to help avoid spots and perk up your skin.

TV/Film: We have just finished Season 2 of American Horror Story and watched the first episode of Season 3 – it is all about witches so I am looking forward to it!
